Ratchet sling is also called tie-down straps. It’s mostly used when transporting cargo in vehicles. The ratchet ensures that the straps are taut and the items are tied down securely to a truck bed or roof rack. The ratchet strap has a breaking strength that ranges from 3000-6000lbs depending on the webbing and hardware.
