What are CBC career day uniforms?
CBC career day uniforms are the outfits children wear on career day at school under the Competency Based Curriculum, to dress as a doctor, nurse, pilot, engineer, chef, police officer or another career. Safety Hub makes and supplies them in children's sizes, together with kids workwear such as overalls, safety vests and rain jackets. Ready-made kids workwear costs KSh 600 to KSh 2,500. We take orders for doctor, nurse, pilot, air hostess, astronaut, firefighter, police officer, soldier, security guard, engineer, mechanic, electrician, farmer, chef, teacher, lawyer, scientist and more. If your child's career is not on the list, tell us what it is and we will advise.
What is the difference between CBC uniforms and CBC workwear?
CBC uniforms usually means the school uniform your child wears every day. CBC workwear and career uniforms are the outfits for career day and practical lessons, such as overalls, aprons, lab coats and safety vests in children's sizes. We make both, so you can order from one supplier.
Do you make CBC school uniforms for junior school?
Yes. We make school uniforms in our Nairobi workshop for schools and parents groups, with the school badge embroidered. See our school uniform manufacturing page, or send your list and we quote.
Can I order one outfit for my child?
Yes for ready-made items in the shop and for career outfits we have in stock. Made-to-order outfits for a whole class or school start from 10 pieces, and we confirm the time in your quote, usually 7 to 14 working days. Tell us how many you need when you write.
What size should I order?
Send your child's age and height and we recommend a size. Children grow fast, so tell us if you want room to grow or a close fit. If the outfit does not fit, ask us about an exchange when you order.
Can you make career day outfits for a whole class or school?
Yes. Teachers and schools can send the list of careers and sizes per pupil, and we quote one price for the order, brand it with the school name if wanted, and deliver to the school. We accept LPOs, M-Pesa, bank transfer and card.
Do you deliver career day outfits?
Yes. Ready-made items ordered before 2:00 PM on weekdays are delivered the same day in Nairobi, and in 24 to 48 hours elsewhere in Kenya. Made-to-order outfits depend on the career and quantity, and we confirm the date in your quote.
